From April 18, Art Palace of Georgia hosts the exhibit called ’Lights, Camera, Magic’ featuring movie posters and memorabilia from some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The exhibit is organised by the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi and it is a movie memorabilia from 1992 onward. The U.S. Embassy has collected posters, scripts, sheet music, costumes, and props from these films to tell the story of how the professionals collaborate to create the magic of a Hollywood film. Many of the items are signed by actors and directors like Clint Eastwood, Spike Lee, and Danny DeVito. See Batman’s batarangs, and read a special letter from Harrison Ford to the people of Georgia.
The event is the very first in a series of events occurring in different cities of Georgia to celebrate the 25th anniversary of U.S.-Georgian diplomatic relations.
The exhibition will run until April 24.
