On April 15, the exhibition of a modern German painter Werner Rudiger was opened in the Art Palace of Georgia, by the support of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.
Despite the fact that in the 1980s Georgians were rarely allowed to enter Tao Klarjeti, German painter Werner Rudiger did just that. His aim was to paint historic monuments there, most of which no longer exist or have since changed completely, thus the painter made an exceptional contribution to Georgian culture as the painting reveal historical/cultural artefacts of that period.
The exhibition consists of 40 paintings.
